And I was home alone so I basically ran to my car, drove to somewhere with lights, and called a friend for refuge! Haha.
I'm done exams! But it doesn't feel as good as it should because my last exam ending up being ridiculously hard.
But what is cheering me up is the fact that while I was slaving away studying and exam-writing, my follower count went over 400!
Thanks to each and every one of you! You made my day brighter.
Coincidentally this is my 3-month blogaversary! (Well, was. As I wrote this.) Pretty good day to reach a follower milestone, and end my first giveaway!
I was planning on scheduling a post for midnight to say it was closed, but that couldn't happen.
So as I mentioned earlier, I made some nail swatch wheels of my "problem color" - teal/turquoise.
And then I made 2 more - purple.
Despite the fact that I have twice as much purple as I do teal, teal is more of a problem because there are so many dupes!
Keep reading for HUGE wheel pictures, the names, as well as bottle pictures!
First I give you the problem color.

The last 4 colors aren't teal, I had 4 spots left after the teal and knew I had 4 pretty similar blues so I used those too. 17/18 are dupes.
Want to know what all those polishes are? Okay!
1. China Glaze - Four Leaf Clover
2. China Glaze - Turned Up Turquoise (impossible to photograph but is actually a bit darker than FLC)
3. Claire's Mood Polish - Peaceful/Confident
4. L.A. Colors Color Craze - Atomic
5. Ardene Matte - Matte About Blue
6. L.A. Colors Color Craze - Sea Siren
7. Orly - Bilamos
8. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Turquoise
9. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Marine Scene
10. NYC - East Village
11. L.A. Girl Color Addict - Obsess
12. Milani Neon - Fresh Teal
13. China Glaze - Shower Together
14. Finger Paints - Carnation Creation
15. Icing - Marine Blue (looks MUCH less green in person in the bottle, which is why I included it, but it doesn't really belong)
(I just realized that I put 2 of these out of order, so I renumbered the photo to match.)
16. Wet N Wild Fast Dry - Teal of Fortune
17. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Blue Me Away!
18. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Brisk Blue (why does Sally have dupes between her different lines?!)
19. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Blue Calypso (same shade, but with shimmer!)
20. China Glaze - Sky High Tops
There you have it.
After doing this wheel I decided that I, Rebecca (likes nails), will no longer be buying the same shade of medium teal/turquoise.
I will put this wheel in my purse with me when I go polish shopping to ensure that I don't come home with another.
(I will allow myself to buy OPI - Catch Me In Your Net or one of the many dupes because I've wanted it a long time and it is a bit different with the duochromey finish. One exception isn't bad, right?! Not like last time's sham of a no-buy!)
Okay, if you're still interested, I have purple wheels for you now!
The first one is cremes and glitters.

Surprisingly, only 2 near-dupes, and one of those was on purpose!
I bought #3 to make up for the nearly empty many-years-old bottle of my favorite polish from my childhood, #4.
And then 6/8 are pretty close. The rest, no dupes! :D
Bottles, here we go.
1. Joe Fresh - Faded Violet (looking to replace this sorry 6ml bottle with a similar color soon)
2. Color Club - Uptown Girl
3. China Glaze - Spontaneous
4. Claire's - Tahiti Purple
5. Color Club - Pucci-licious
6. Ardene - Grapevine

8. L.A. Colors Color Craze - Nuclear Energy
9. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Trouble Maker
10. Milani Neon - Rad Purple
11. Color Club - Ready To Royal
I'm impressed with my lack of dupes here! Now for glitter!
12. Milani One Coat Glitter - Purple Gleam (2 coats...)
13. Nina Ultra Pro - Purple X-ing
14. Unnamed purple glittery bear!
15. Milani Nail Art - Purple Outline

1. China Glaze - Purple Panic (not really purple but included for the name!)
2. China Glaze - Flying Dragon (Neon) (Did you know there is a non-neon version of this too?)
3. China Glaze - Senorita Bonita
4. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Virtual Violet (Sally beat you to this name, China Glaze)
5. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Psychedelic Purple
6. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Deep Purple
7. Revlon Top Speed - Violet
8. Sinful Colors - Purple Diamond (never opaque)
9. Runts Purple (no real name)
10. No name from childhood!
11. No name from childhood!
12. No name from The Color Institute
13. Icing - Purple PJ's
14. Color Club - Catwalk Queen
15. Joe Fresh - Imperial
16. Rimmel 60 Seconds - Night Before
17. OPI - Nevermore
18. OPI - Ink
I got Nevermore as a gift and loved the color but the tiny bottle was sad, and I heard that Ink was a dupe, and they sure are! OPI duping itself? What?!
The rest of these dark colors are all really similar too, Night Before is a bit more blue-toned than the rest however.
19. China Glaze - Gamer Glam
20. Color Club - Wild At Heart
21. Color Club - Fashion Addict
I was so happy that they all fit on 2 wheels, but then I remembered Fashion Addict was upstairs. So I hope it's okay just stuck there in the middle.
And that's all folks! Did you enjoy my wheels? I had fun making them but the teal one was a bit depressing. My mom saw it and got all mom-like about having 20 of the "same exact color."
Which is an exageration but yeah, I have too many.
To avoid doing the same thing with purple as I have with teal, when there is a purple I am interested in, I will be bringing these babies to the store to compare and make sure it won't be a dupe!
I want to make a wheel of pinks next!
Tomorrow whenever I wake up (it's 4:30am and I have only had 2 hours of sleep thus far) I'll compile the spreadsheet for my giveaway and pick a winner!
Now here's hoping for a bit of sleep. At least I don't have exams to worry about anymore!
