And on to today's post :)
I recently received my blogger sample pack from Viva La Nails (all you pay is shipping). This pack is full of beautiful goodies! The first thing I had to try was the water decals, I had seen this great tutorial from Asami where she raved about how fab they are. They are fantastic! I see now why she loves them so.
They are very easy to apply. No learning curve here. It's very much like a temporary tattoo ;)
They don't have any raised edges. That is what I LOVE about them. I am one that is prone to pick at stuff that is raised or textured on my nails. These are flat and flush with the nail. Colors are very vivid and opaque, with lots of detailed shading. Beautiful. Each pack has 20 decals. Two full manicures if you put one on every nail. They are designed in a way that each nail is a little different. I LOVE this fact too. It makes the design flow and not feel like a sticker.
Overall: I am very happy with these! I will definitely be placing an order when I get a chance to look at any of the other designs they offer in this form.
(For my nails I used Orly's Pink Slip over the entire nail, then taped off my tips and added Pure Ice Platinum, water decals, then topcoat!)
