OPI Muppets Collection: My Picks

Posted by Unknown on Sunday, October 2, 2011

Hello again! I am back to show you my "must haves" for the new OPI Muppets collection. I got my hands on these through the deal that 8moms.com had with aveyou.com. Let me just say, this was my first experience with aveyou.com and it was great! I was amazed at how fast shipping was to my somewhat remote location. I highly recommend shopping their site.

Anyway...here are swatches of the Muppets I liked best out of the collection:

First up is Gettin' Ms Piggy With It! This is multi sized red glitters and large silver glitter in a clear base. This is 4 coats. This definitely is thin which means it works best for layering, but if you use red "underwear" then maybe it would still have full coverage in less coats. This was the only one of the true glitters that I thought was interesting and new.

Rainbow Connection is like the plethora of rainbow glitters out there. All of them have small differences, but are practically the same. I think this one has larger hex glitters than most though. Even though there is nothing revolutionary about this shade, I still am in love with this layering combo! This neon orange is Color Club Wham! Pow! So fun! 1 coat.

Next is Designer, de better! I don't normally go for shades like this, but I am happy that I picked this one because I have nothing like it. It looks like a champagne foil from afar, but at a closer look you see bronze flecks throughout. This is a very elegant shade, perfect for the holidays. 3 coats.

Here is Warm and Fozzie. Love the name and love the color! This is predominantly a bronze with golden and red flecks mixed in for a slight duo chrome effect. Very fun to look at! 3 coats.

And for my final pick from the Muppets, here is Excuse Moi! I love pink and I love glitter so this one is a winner for me! This is a rosy pink base with small multi colored glitter. 2 coats.

So there you have it! Which colors will you be picking up from this collection? <3
