Flormar 413

Posted by Unknown on Sunday, June 17, 2012

I was in search of a good brown polish. And this Flormar 413 is a stage of this search. It is a nice latte color, but not as brown as I wanted. Still, looks nice with Golden Rose Nail Art in Gold stamped on it...

What do you think? Do you have any recommendations about nice brown shades?

Explosion! - Nail Art With Tape

Posted by Unknown on Wednesday, May 23, 2012

I did this mani by using a tutorial by Nailside... Did you visit her page? She has the prettiest designs and tutorials... :)

This is my second tape mani, and I think I'm getting better at this... :) The tutorials really helped...

I used Golden Rose Velvet Matte as the base color. It is a shimmery purple which dries to become a velvet finish, semi matte... For the explosion (!) part, I used Flormar Nail Art in Black and Golden Rose Nail Art in Silver. And lots of SV between layers... :)

How do you like it?

Golden Rose Holographic Colors - Part 2

Posted by Unknown on Sunday, April 29, 2012

Today I'll be putting on more colors from Golden Rose Holographic Colors Collection. This time I'll be trying the pinks...

I had two coats of each color on my nails, without a base or a top coat. I believe if I wear them on colors, the effect would be better..

Golden Rose Holographic Colors - Part 1

Posted by Unknown on Friday, April 27, 2012

Today we will be comparing my latest haul from Golden Rose Holographic Collection. :) I bought every possible shade I could find from this collection but unfortunately most of the colors seem alike. :( So today, we will be experimenting if they are really the same...

First I chose 4 shades that look different hues of grey. The below picture shows how identical they look. But are they, really? Let's find out. First let's take each bottle's picture under the sun....

As you can see, they are slightly different under the sun. 107 is a purplish shade while 102 has a blue-green look...

108 is light grey. Not as grey as 119 which I swatched here. While 112 is nearly white.

I swatched 3 coats of all the colors, without a base and top coat. As you can notice, they don't have the holographic effect as much as 119. But they look beautiful anyway. Pictures were taken under sunlight, but I noticed that they seemed more holographic in artifical light. However, I did not take pictures of that. :( But I will swatch each one seperately soon, so you'll know the difference. :)

Golden Rose Matte 11

Posted by Unknown on Tuesday, April 17, 2012

Last time I used this polish, I had to use a shiny topcoat, so I couldn't enjoy the matte feeling... :) This time, I tried it on without a topcoat... Still, it is not black, but a lovely dark grey... :)

Tell me, when you wear matte polish, do you use a top coat? How do you keep the matte finish?

Siz mat ojelerinizi nasıl kullanmayı tercih ediyorsunuz? Üzerine hangi topcoat'ı kullanıyorsunuz?
