Recess LA is located in sunny Los Angeles, California. Recess LA (hands, feet, body) takes pride in the fact that they are not an ordinary nail place. Salon owner Nidhi Lal believes in living a luxurious lifestyle that still contains eco-friendly practices. Recess LA follows LEED guidelines ( Leaders in Energy and Environmental Design) and only carries non-toxic products, for example they use and sell Zoya Nail Polish because it is free of harmful chemical such as toluene, formaldehyde, DBP (phthalates) and camphor.

Recess LA truly cares about your experience at the salon. They have a ventilation system that recycles that air throughout the day so you are not breathing in harmful fumes. None of their products use Parabens  DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde. Each customer is allowed to customize their treatment by picking out scrubs, lotions, and soaks of their choice. Customers also have a privacy option by using the white curtains in the above picture.

 Recess LA is a fan favorite among numerous celebrities including  Audrina Patridge, Stephanie Pratt ( It's even been featured on an episode of The Hills),  Anne Hathaway, and Alicia Silverstone.

The Hills are alive with Zoya!

LA beauties looking for an incredible "green" mani/pedi like the girls - Stephanie Pratt and Audrina Patridge - on "the hills" check out RECESS LA .
