Two coats of Sally Hansen Purple Pulse and one coat of China Glaze Prismatic Collection Prism over it on the accent nail... Photos taken under sunlight. I think SV is responsible of the shrinking of the polish on the tips. :( What do you think?
İki kat Sally Hansen Purple Pulse'ın üzerine bir kat China Glaze Prismatic Collection Prism, sadece "aacent" tırnağa sürüldü. Resimler güneş ışığında çekildi. Ve sanırım uçlardaki bozulmanın sebebi Seche Vite topcoat. Ne dersiniz?

If you've been following my blog for some time, you should know that I love purple polish. So when I saw this Sally Hansen on the shelf, I had to get it.... It's such a lovely purple shade but I had to put on 3 coats because the formula wasn't as expected, it was too sheer. First coat was like a sheer top coat, second coat had uneven spots. But 3 coats was enough for opacity. :)

You know, I bought this polish yesterday... It is a lovely lovely color, which has nothing to do with the name Cherry... The name reminds me of the movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", my daughter's favorite musical... :) It is a creamy pink polish with some purple hues in it. The application was good, just like all Sally Hansen polish. But 2 coats left some streaks, so I applied 3 coats... Look cute... :) By the way, pictures were taken on day 2, hence the insignificant tip wear...

Morning!! I've been on the lookout for a bright while holo for a while now. I do have the Glitter Gals white holo,
Light as a Feather, and although it was holo, I wanted it to be more in your face holo :P So I experimented a tad, and tried a little layering. It turned out alright, but def not as I hoped. The Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Diamond kind of turned the white a tad yellow.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze White on White, and then added a coat of Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Diamond. I wish there was sun when I did this, so I could even see if that helped more. Maybe I shall try again one day.
Side note - I can't freaking wait!!! One week from now I will be enjoying my day off, and proabbaly still talking about just seeing the Hunger Games with Jack!!! Are any of you going to the midnight showing? I always said I would never go to one of those, mainly because of the crowds, but I just couldn't wait!

Okay, so I had a post planned for yesterday, but I just ran out of time, and never got it ready :( OMG, can I just say this past weekend was so nice, that I spent as much time as I could outside with the fam and neighbors. It was so needed, and instantly boosted my spirits. So that is why I didn't post this weekend, and my week nights were filled with helping my daughter with math, or more so just word problems. I'm still not sleeping good, but I think my body is becoming used to it, because I don't feel as tired anymore. I'm not sure yet, if that's good or bad, lol. Oh well, on to the mani!
**UPDATE**I did forget to mention, that I did apply 2 thick coats of SV after I used I'm a Material Girl to smooth it all out. It is a little bit of a top coat eater Sharon, if you're reading this, I apologize, I know I told you I had a Kleancolor post, but that will be tomorrow, since I had THE perfect mani for Pink Wednesday!
For this I started out with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink
I then did 2 coats of a polish I purchased from Dollish Polish on etsy, called I'm a Material Girl. This glitter really is so complex, and I love it! It is one of those glitters though, that needs that extra help with placement. More for the black pieces, but I'm 100% okay with that. It's worth it :)

I've been eyeing Sally Hansen Gilty Pleasure for some time. My main concern was would the polish turn out just to be a sheer coat or will it be opaque enough... Wish I had bought it earlier... The coverage is nice, the color is perfect and the brush is wide enough for my giant nails. :) I used BM plate 203 with China Glaze Liquid Leather for stamping.

With Valentines coming up, I wanted to start getting some ideas, so the other night I tried one of them out. I didn't want anything to over the top or insanely complicated. I absolutely loved the turn out.
Oh and last night Jack and I spent 3 hours going through my stash. re-organizing, and pulling polishes that I either didn't want/use or had enough back ups of. I took some pics, so hopefully I can get them loaded for tomorrow :) I must say, wow, I had about 400 more than I though!!! Jack even came from the hall closet carrying 2 boxes full, that I forgot about, eeekkkk!!!
Anyways, on to the mani. I started with 1 coat of Sally Hansen Rapid Red.

Then using these craft scissors I cut some tape strips out
Like so..... (if you look between my fingers, you can see my Chi, Rolo, well his face looking up at me like I'm crazy, lol.
I then placed them on my nail, making semi half moons, taping off the red part and used Color Club Peppermint Twist. Then finished with a coat of SV.
