Pink Overload!

Today my cousin came to me wanting me to do her nails. I of course said yes because I love being able to try some of my untried. I asked her what she had in mind and she seen my nails with the glitter accent finger and she wanted the same idea but different colors. I asked what color and she said a make me happy color. My cousin couldn't pick a color of what she calls a make me happy color. So I picked out Zoya Happi if that's not a make me happy color then it didn't live up to its name lol.. as for the accent finger she picked out OPI Teenage Dream.

She loved them and will probably wear it till the last piece of nail polish on her nails. I hope Zoya polishes last with the OPI start to finish then I wont have to buy their Color Lock System.

Lisa Frank Neon Skittles

I liked the bright colors from my last mani so much that I had to do something similar. Again, first inspiration comes from A Day in the Life of Dollface's blog, so this is just a branch of her original idea. :)

And this is a play on the "skittle" manicure ;)

I took this Lisa Frank character as inspiration and her name is: Candy Girl!

I loved the way the name was done in two shades of the same color. So that's what I did for these.

Then I used the multicolored dots on her shirt for these nails

Then the swirl candies for this one:

I Bundle Monstered the lollipop design onto my left thumb.

I tried my best to recreate the swirled lollipop in the picture, but it's my least favorite. :(

And then I realized I had a solid orange nail left with no design idea!

So I did a white stripe with some big dots.

More polka dots!!

While I was at Sally's picking up some Gelous for a friend, I saw they still had the free China Glaze with SV top coat purchase!! YAY, so I picked up Secret Peri-wink-le, and I don't know why I never grabbed this before!! I love it!! After I did my mani with it, I just had to spice it up, I can't seem to leave any mani alone, lol. For the polka dots I used Sally Hansen Blue Blast :P

I just adore this combo and the subtlety of the polkie dots, from afar :)

Well seeing as my brain apparently hates sleep and I've been up since 4:30 for the second day in a row and now a snow plow is stopping me from getting back to sleep, I'm going to make a quick swatch post.

I've been playing around with my Katy Perry polishes, and I wondered what Last Friday Night would look like over Teenage Dream.

Purple and cute, just like I imagined.
The problem is, this is 3 coats of TD and 2 of LFN.
5 coats is too much on your nail for these thick glitters!
