Can You Guess What It Is?

If you can figure out what it was that inspired this design.... you get 5 extra entries in my 1,000 follower giveaway! This is just random and because I find it too funny. Although slightly disturbing in a way.

 I used Pure Ice Free Spirit and added the details with black acrylic paint as follows:

 Then added more Free Spirit and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Deep Purple

Let everything thoroughly dry before applying your topcoat.

If you have a guess as to what inspired this, leave it in a comment.

My one and only clue will be that it is a specific wrapper for a product. I used the exact colors and patterns. It was a direct interpretation, nothing loosely based or vague. Maybe that will make it easier.

Hits Holographics - Poseidon

Sorry I skipped the rest of the Hits Holographics, I got a little side tracked with the top coats and new Ozotics. Only a couple to go, which I will finish up with this week.

Here is Hits Holographic Poseidon.  A pretty light blue holo.  This was two coats and there is a tiny bit of a nail line in the photos that really wasn't there in real life (I swear!).

This is how it looks in the shade and indoors.

Next a comparison with the other blue holos I have.  From left to right Poseidon, Ozotic 512, Ozotic 515 and Nfu Oh 65.  First in the shade.

And now in the sun.

Incredibly, even the two most similar ones Poseidon and Ozotic 512 are still slightly different colours.  I actually think Poseidon has a tiny bit more holo appearance that the Ozotics (but of course Nfu Oh 65 is from another planet entirely)

The formula was beautiful on this one and applied smoothly with no bald spots.  Not a unique colour, but certainly worth adding to your list if you don't own a light blue holo yet.

Halloween, over?

Hi y'all! :) How was your Halloween event this year?

Fun? Exciting? Scary? Too much too handle? Boring? Disappointed? Traumatized?

Whatever it is, we hope all of you are doing well! :)

If you have noticed, we actually placed a jar of candy just right on the cashier counter at #04-83! :)

It is a little token of our appreciation towards our loyal customers and at the same time, wishing and hoping everybody a happy scary Halloween!

What really is Halloween and the story behind this origin? Just plainly making yourself look like a ghost?

New Challenge!! 30 days of untried.

Hello Ladies I'm back!! I know I basically abandoned my blog for a bit but I have been very busy at work and in life. I am back with a new challenge that will get me to blog alot more and make me use my untrieds which are the majority of my polishes. I will try to do 1 or 2 a day lets see how this goes!

 Day 1 polish is one I just received today and couldn't resist but to use it right away. It is China Glaze Visit me in prism. It is a light lilac scattered holo that went on smooth in 2 coats. It has very strong holo effect I wish China Glaze would make more of theses beauties.
