Pink Water Marble Reject

This was a reject manicure from the Blogger Challenge Pink Week. I rarely water marble because I'm not very good at it. I'm not too thrilled with how it turned out which is why I didn't feature it during the Pink Week. But what the hell? I'll show you now. I used China Glaze Laced Up, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Bubblegum Pink, and China Glaze Fairy Dust. (My base polish was Laced Up, so that's why the Fairy Dust is just sparkly over hot pink.)

 It's just bleh in my eyes. Maybe part of the problem is that it's just too much pink. I might like it more with another color mixed in.

Forever 21 Love & Beauty No Name Polish

This is 3 coats of a cute polish I won from shimmerspark's giveaway. The formula on this was very nice & it's a pretty color but I didn't really like the way it looked on my hands. It lasts really well though! I used this as the base for my bloody fingerprints manicure & I've been wearing it for a whole week with minimal tip wear & no chipping. The bottle is adorable too.

Orly Rock Solid

Before I start this entry, I just wanna announce that today is my precious dog Bebe's 11th birthday! So happy birthday to her! Here's a picture of her recently. She love's joining us at the dinner table. It's like her saying, "I want my food right here please!" Haha, even though she's 11, she still acts like a little puppy. She's very active and filled with energy. She's blind on one eye, and have cataracts on the other, but that doesn't stop her from having fun and chasing balls. Her sense of smell and hearing is strong because she's partially blind. Nevertheless, she's very playful and loves getting attention. I had her since she was 2 months old, so she's literally like my baby. I love her :)

SO! Today I have Orly's Rock Solid from the Mineral FX collection. It was the only one I bought, since I am on a tight budget. Not to mention, the other colors were so-so and just didn't grab my attention. Rock Solid was the only one left in the display at Sally's Beauty.

Rock Solid is a charcoal base shimmer packed with holo glitters. The glitters range from tiny glitters and some larger glitters. This was done in two coats.


And here is a blurry picture to show the holo glitters gleaming!

The formula for this was good. It applied very smooth with no troubles. It was super hard to remove. But that's expected of glitters.

Black and White Abstract Leaves

I don't really know if I was going for the look of leaves when I made these, but that's kind of how I felt they turned out. They are meant to be organic looking. I was inspired by a drawing that I found and unfortunately did not save, but if these look familiar to anyone, I'd love to re-find that drawing!
