I was so in love with OPI's Black Shatter that I was so excited to hear that China Glaze came out with a Crackle Glaze collection with shatter polishes of different colors! These polishes are fun to play with especially coming up with a color to match with it.
First I want to apologize for the lack of update. I don't have time to swatch polishes so as of now I'm doing my mani's and taking pictures of them day by day and then post when I'm done with the collection. I hope that's OK with everyone :) I'm also very behind on my giveaway that I was suppose to do in January but never got on with it. I will be working on it I hope.
So take a look at China Glaze's Crackle Glaze collection:
Black Mesh is a black crackle. This one seem to crackle more than OPI Black Shatter
Broken Hearted is a pink crackle. I love the color combination for these two!
Lightning Bolt is a white crackle. Since it was white I knew it wouldn't have much coverage for one coat. Therefore I choose a light shade as the base and I love the turnout.
Fault Line is a purple shimmer crackle. This one didn't crackle as much as I hope it did. I was looking forward to this one the most. My boyfriend recently purchased a new bowling ball and it was a purple shimmer with green letterings, that's where I got the idea from. But as my coworker stated it reminds him of The Joker!
Cracked Concrete is a gray crackle. I decided to use a mint green base because I know gray looks good with any pastels, and being mint green is my favorite color I chose that :D And I think it turn out pretty nice.
Crushed Candy is a aqua crackle. I chose black as the base because when I saw the promo pictures I thought this was gorgeous. The aqua just pops out due to the black base.
It's so hard to choose a favorite! I think I love them all. But I think Crushed Candy with black base looks hot, and Cracked Concrete with the mint green looks good as well.
These definitely need a top coat because it looks a bit ridged if no top coat is on it to smooth it out. I am content with this collection, and I'm looking forward to more shatter polishes in the future.
Well that's all I have for today!
