I wore the first Pink Panther design to work Monday night. During the day on Tuesday I slept later than I intended and didn't have the time to do a new cartoon mani. The Pink Panther held up pretty good though and had minimal wear, so I thought "why don't I just change up the other nails!?" Duh! Why hadn't I thought of this before now? So I took off the plain China Glaze Spontaneous nails and did them in China Glaze Secondhand Silk. Then I wanted to panther it up a bit and added black paw prints across the tips. Which version of the Pink Panther do you like best?
This is the dotting tool I used to create the paw prints. I got my set of dotting tools off of eBay. Rebecca did a great review of the same kind of set here, if you want to check it out. :)
I used the large end of the blue dotting tool dipped in WnW Black Creme for the base of the paw.
Then I switched to the smaller end of the same tool for each of the toes.
I did each complete paw before moving on to the next one so as to keep the spacing even.
Does that make sense?
Rather than doing all of the big dots on all of the nails and then going back to do all of the small dots. I didn't want to run the risk of over crowding or running out of room.
