My mom is addicted to going to a local auction and buying a lot of crap. A lot of times she can get great deals on stuff, but if you don't even need it to begin with.... and won't use it.... it's still a waste of money in my mind. However, she did give me some nail polish that she got there last week and I was impressed for once! Some of it is random no-name polishes, but a few I will definitely put to good use.
Sally Hansen Insta Dri Blue Blast
Covers excellently in just one coat! Works well stamping over light colors.
Pure Ice - Gossip!
Nice hot pink, two coats. Same color as Revlon scented Bubble Gum, and Zoya Lolly. But obviously without the scent or the matte finish.
Pure Ice - Celestial
Full swatch, because I had actually just bought a bottle of this myself a few days before she gave the package to me! Lol, so now I have 2 bottles. But I really like it. 2 easy coats, stamps well over light colors.
No-Name Yellow Shimmer
Yuck. This is 4-5 coats and no where near opacity. This looks hideous to me.
It's not magically awesome when layered over black either.... frankening bin, here it comes!
No-Name Blue Shimmer
Nice color, similar to celestial. This was 3 coats. Still some VNL.
No-Name Light Pink Shimmer
Covered easy in just two coats.
No-Name Dark Pink Shimmer
Very similar shade to the light pink, covered well.
The No-Name bottles are a lot smaller than the average polish bottle. Probably only 10 mLs, there is no writing at all on the bottle. But that's ok seeing as how I wasn't stunned by any of them.
