Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear swatch spam! part 1

Hi guys! Today I'm going to show you a few of my Xtreme Wear polishes.

You probably know this already, but Xtreme Wear polishes are very affordable and can be found in many drug stores, Walmart, supermarkets, etc! They have a ton of colors and it's a really good way to expand your collection with different colors, because not only are they inexpensive, they are usually good quality. My polish-buying habit started with these colors when they were on sale at Walmart for $2 in late 2009!



There were just so many colors... I bought so many. And I've since bought a few more!

And I haven't shown many of them to you, so I've decided to start swatching them! Here is the first batch.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Mystic Lilac.

I don't know how this is lilac, but it sure is pretty! 3 coats.

This is a slightly purple-toned "greige" (gray/beige) with really intense green shimmer!

Normally, the Xtreme Wear line isn't overly original or unique, but this one sure is! I have nothing else like it.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Virtual Violet.

Another very pretty one! China Glaze also has a polish by this name, but much different.

This polish is sheer but it builds nicely to a lavender purple with an intense light blue flash. This one is one of my favorites!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Ocean View.

This one is not as special as the above colors, just a plain medium blue shimmer.

This one is also sheer and takes 4 coats. I find that the shimmer polishes in this line are all sheer, but the cremes are generally great.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Blue Me Away!

Another blue, but creme this time. The camera flash really photographed this weird - it only takes one coat but the flash shows bald spots! Those aren't visible in person.

This one is really vibrant and the true color is shown better in the second photo.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Deep Purple.

This is another shimmer, a bit less sheer, 3 coats. Deep purple with blue tones and blue/pink shimmer.

Second picture is more color accurate.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Red Carpet.

Red polishes and me just don't get along, I look so pale!

And I don't like the visible nail line on this one, but other than that it is pretty. Red glass-flecked jelly. 2 coats.

I think I'd like it better layered over a red creme so there wouldn't be visible nail line.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Caribbean Coral.

This is a red I get along with, because it is pinky/orangey/coral red! With pretty shimmer! Perfect in one coat.

I actually really like this color and I don't normally like red/orange as you know. This one is red without being harsh.
