Hey ladies! I am showing you an 8 pan eyeshadow palette from Wet N Wild today. It's called Blue Had Me at Hello...for obvious reasons. haha I was really excited when I got this because I love the colors in this!
Like the eyeshadow trios I showed you previously, these are labeled with guides telling you where to put each shade. The difference between the two is that this 8 pan palette includes a definer shade. And then on the back, there is further explanation on a how-to for a few different looks. For beginners, this definitely takes the guess work out of a pretty eyeshadow look!
These are divided to make 2 looks, so that's what I did but these shades could all easily mix and match. So here are the shades from the left side of the palette. I loved them all, but was hoping the crease shade was more pigmented with blue.
Overall, these colors create a look that I really like. The effect comes off more gray, but it's still a slightly different twist on the traditional smokey eye. I wasn't sure about the Definer shade because I usually use an eyeliner pencil, but for review purposes I used it anyway. Although the staying power wasn't what I am used to with a pencil, I like that it sort of softened the look and made everything blend cohesively.
Here was my FOTD with these shadows.
The right half of the palette was more of a favorite, specifically for the blue eyelid shade. It's sooo pretty! I can definitely see myself coming back to this one.
I had good wear time on this side also. The sparkles in the definer shade didn't show up on the eye, but that really didn't bother me too much.
I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone who loves blue shades. These are all pretty pigmented and last pretty long when used with a primer. This retails for $4.99, which is a great price for what you get! You can get Wet N Wild at many drugstores, and places like Walmart and Fred Meyer. Until next time! <3
