Sinful Colors - Cindrella

Posted by Unknown on Thursday, June 14, 2012

The pictures are old actually. I've had this polish since the begining of Spring, thanks to Kimberly. :) This is my one and only Sinful Colors polish. The name Cindrella suits the color so much. It is a baby blue color with pink shimmer in it. Easy to apply, I have 2 coats on, but I guess 3 would have been better. I don't know, maybe it would be better to layer it one some other baby blue polish... You know, so this one does not finish... :)

Cute, isn't it?

An Ugly Christmas Sweater Nail Design

Posted by Unknown on Sunday, December 25, 2011

December 25, 2011

Merry Christmas to you and your family!!! This is my Christmas weekend manicure.... I got the idea from Amber who pinned an ugly Christmas sweater nail design on Pintrest! The source of the nail design can be found here (At that link, there is another link to a tutorial on the manicure).

The green polish is two coats of Sinful Colors Last Chance. The red polish is two coats of OPI Just A Little Rosti At This. For the snowflakes I used Konad stamping plate M59. For the deer stamp, I used Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-214. For the lace print, I used Konad Stamping Plate M57. The photos show one coat of top coat.

Can't get enough of the ugly Christmas Sweaters?.... Check out my polish friend's, Casandra, Ugly Christmas Sweater nail design at her blog!!!!

Also, make sure to enter my Christmas giveaway. It ends TODAY!

Sinful Colors Mint Apple = Funky Leopard Print Nail Design

Posted by Unknown on Sunday, September 4, 2011

September 04, 2011

I decided to play with tape, and this is what I came up with! I used two coats of Sinful Colors Mint Apple (which is a gorgeous shimmery polish). Once it was dry, I added a piece of tape in a diagonal design to protect the part of the nail I did not want the stamped polish to touch. Then I used my Bundle Monster stamping plate and black polish to stamp on the leopard print. Then I removed the tape. I filled in the circles with my dotting tool using OPI San Tan-Tonio.

Polka Dots and Bow Nail Design

Posted by Unknown on Monday, August 29, 2011

August 29, 2011

Hi everyone! Don't forget to register for my giveaway if you haven't. It ends on Thursday, Sept 1.

I am really excited about today's manicure. It is inspired by the blog "Let Them Have Polish". If you haven't checked out this blog, please do. (Click here). I saw this manicure earlier this month, and I feel in love. It is too cute, so I had to recreate it for myself. I used two coats of Sinful Colors I Miss You, which is an awesome glitter polish. Then I used my new Konad plates (which I specifically ordered so I could do this manicure haha). I used the plate m59 for the bow with black polish, and plate m79 for the polka dots with white polish. So have you ever been so inspired you recreated the same manicure you saw on someone else's blog?

Sinful Colors What's Your Name + Ulta Pinata-Yada-Yada

This combination equals glitter heaven!!!! This is two coats of Sinful Colors What's Your Name (which is a black polish with blue glitter mixed in it) and one coat of Ulta Pinata-Yada-Yada (which reminds me of Claire's Bedazzled and Deborah Lippman Happy Birthday). A couple of days ago, I seen a very similar manicure with a matte finish. I wish I would have seen that before I did this manicure and took pictures. I would have made my finish matte instead of shiny because I really liked that on the other blogs. Oh well, next time I will do matte!

Can you see the awesome blue sparkle in the black polish in the pictures below? If not, enlarge it. I love this polish.

Don't these look VERY similar--although Ulta is darker, I bet if I put them both on black polish you couldn't tell the difference? What do you think? You can see a post I did about Claire's Bedazzled here.

Flower Nail Design

You can click on any photo to enlarge it .

This design is LOUD, but then again I like loud. I think the dried flowers were a bit large, but still cute. I have many, many pictures for you today. I have pictures of the base coat (Sinful Colors Unicorn--3 coats), the stamping polish (GAP Wine), and pictures without the dried flower. So what do you think? Should I have stopped at just the stamped nail and eliminated the flower?

My cuticles are a little red because I just cut my cuticles and applied cuticle oil.
