With Halloween fast approaching, I thought it was time to post that typical pumpkin Halloween nail design. This is nothing special as we have been seeing a very similar design on many blogs lately. It is still a classic and fun to wear! The base color is the fun part! It is Pumpkin Patch from My Nail Grafitti's husband's Halloween Franken Collection (who just introduced his winter collection, and of course I bought it). It is a lovely orange with a gold shimmer and green glitter. It will be worn again next Halloween!  Then I used Bundle Monster stamping plates BM-224 and BM-222 to stamp on the design.

Halloween Nail Design: Funky Frankenstein French Nail Design

My inspiration for this Halloween Nail Design comes from Heather at Peace, Love, & Polish. I saw these on her blog and thought they were adorable, so I had to give them a try. My first try turned out well until I put the top coat on, and it smeared my polish for some reason. All the smears were bearable except for the ring finger, so I used a little fingernail polish remover to remove the smeared part, and tried to fix it. Don't you just hate it when your top coat smears your nail design? It happens a lot to me when stamping. Oh well, I think this simple frankenstein nail design looks cute!

Kleancolor Bridal Shower = Halloween Nail Design

My inspiration for this Halloween Nail Design comes from the blog, Misaya's Playground (click here to see her blog). I started with two coats of Kleancolor Bridal Shower. My french tips are painted in a messy uneven style with OPI My Private Jet. Then I used Bundle Monster Stamping Plate BM 224 to stamp on the Haunted House Nail Design. To add an extra detail, I used Kleancolor Neon Yellow to paint in the windows!

This is two coats of Kleancolor Bridal Shower. It is somewhat sheer but very pretty on it's own!

Halloween Nail Design

Another Halloween nail design for you! I did this one last Sunday and wore it for a few days. I really liked it. I free handed the french tips with China Glaze Papaya Punch (which is turning into my "go to" Halloween orange polish). I stamped on the Spider Web Nail Design and Spider Nail Design with Bundle Monster Stamping Plate BM13.

Halloween Nail Design + Ultra Pro Glamrock +Sally Hansen Salon Effects Numbskull

This past weekend I went with my family to Freight Fest at Six Flags to celebrate my brother's 15th Birthday! For those of you who do not know, this is a theme park with roller coaster, rides, etc. Because it is October and close to Halloween, the park host Halloween themed events. So of course, I did a Halloween nail design. For my manicure, the tips are Ultra Pro Glamrock (at the end of this post I have full manicure swatch photos of this polish because it is AMAZING). Then I used Halloween That's It? Rub On Nail Art Decals I purchased from here.

Of course, I did my sister's nails too! She bought the Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Numbskull. So we put those on! These are awesome!

Here is Ultra Pro Glamrock on its own! So awesome! I didn't get any outside shots but it SPARKLES like crazy!

Halloween Nail Design

Today I have for you my first Halloween Nail Design (and many more to come)! This design idea was taken from an image google search for Halloween Nail Designs months ago. I tried to find the source again, but could not (I saved the image on my computer, and now I can't find it again). Correction: someone from my Facebook polish group knew the source of the manicure (thanks Laurie): http://enamelgirl.blogspot.com/2010/10/happy-halloween.html

Anyways, I first did a gradient design with China Glaze Papaya Punch and Kleancolor Neon Yellow. Then I used white acrylic paint and a nail paint brush to randomly paint on white patches. Then I added some silver glitter to blend in the white and orange better. 

The Halloween nail designs are a mixture of Halloween Konad Stamping Plates,  Halloween Bundle Monster Stamping Plates, and Kiss Halloween Nail Art Decals. I know the manicure is busy, but what do you think? (P.S. yes, I know the stamp on my ringer finger is upside down hahaa... I was pretty upset about that lol).

Pointer Finger: Konad M28 Stamping Plate (skull) + Kiss Halloween Nail Stickers (bat)

Middle Finger: Bundle Monster Stamping Plate: BM-224 (haunted house) + Kiss Halloween Nail Stickers (Skull and Bat)

OPI Go Goth Halloween Set 2010 UPDATED

UPDATED: Here are each of the colours on the nail. The formula on these are all very nice. Have to be careful when applying Obscurity though, it can get streaky.

Here is just a quick look at the Go Goth collection! This collection came out for Halloween 2010. I'm really excited to see what they have in store for us this year! 

Retails for $39.90, a bit of a rip off but I really loved these colours.

Sanguine is a beautiful dark red, plus I love saying it. Sanguine.

Nevermore is a very pretty navy with pink and purple sparkles.

Unripened is really nice! I really hope OPI brings this sort of shade into a normal collection.

Happy Day After Halloween!!!!

I am sooooo exhausted! We had a blast this weekend, and the hubby and I hosted an adult party on Saturday, and a kids on Sunday. After the kids party we all went out with the kids, and came back to our place for the night. I had so much fun, but I think I might actually pass out at my desk!
