Lacquistry Celery Stew

Posted by Unknown on Monday, February 13, 2012

February 13, 2012

How exciting... Amanda from Amandalandish went on vacation and asked me to be a guest blogger for her today. If you have a chance, check out her blog!!!!!

This is two coats of Lacquistry Celery Stew with no top coat. Not a traditional Valentine's Day color, but......I think it turned out nicely....

Then I added one coat of Lynnderella The Glittering Crowd. I did not add any top coat because I knew I would be adding some rub on nail art stickers. These type of decals do not like to stick to slick surfaces. I purchased these super cute decals from EzNail. I love these --so fast and easy!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Lacquistry Shredded 24K and Shredded Aqua

Posted by Unknown on Saturday, January 14, 2012

January 14, 2012

Today, I have two lovely frankens made by the one and only Jenna from Lacquistry! Recently, she listed three new polishes that are very unique---shredded 24K, shredded silver holo, and aqua shredded (which aqua is now sold out). She also has shredded black available (you can see swatches of it here).

The photos show two coats of Ulta Mint Condition (which is not color accurate in my photos. It is a tad bit more green than these photos show). I added one coat of Lacquistry Shredded 24K to every nail and one coat of Lacquistry Shredded Aqua to the ring finger.

Lacquistry Dirty Rich + Lacquistry Shredded

Posted by Unknown on Sunday, January 1, 2012

January 1, 2012

Ringing in the New Year with some flashy polish... This is two coats of Lacquistry Dirty Rich (One of Jenna's newest creations. It is available on her Etsy shop) and one coat of top coat.

I am so excited to show you the next polish... Another new one by Jenna of Lacquistry! It is called Shredded. This is one coat of Lacquistry Shredded over two coats of Lacquistry Dirty Rich with one coat of top coat.

This polish is so unique. My layering makes it look like a black shatter, but it is not a black shatter polish.

This is ONE COAT of Lacquistry Shredded layered over various colors. Photos show one coat of gelous. Isn't it simply amazing? In my opinion,  it gives Lynnderella Connect the Dots its run for the money in the uniqueness category. This polish is available on Jenna's Etsy shop.

I wish you all the luck, love, and happiness in 2012!!!

(If you can't tell, this is supposed to be a four leaf clover made of hearts lol)

Color Club Fashion Addict + Lacquistry I Wear My Jewelry on My Nails

December 19, 2011

This is two coats of Color Club Fashion Addict. I received this amazing polish from Heather over at Peace, Love, & Polish. The photo shows no top coat.

I took Color Club Fashion Addict up a notch by adding one coat of Lacquistry I Wear My Jewelry on My Nails (such an awesome polish name!!!). I am in LOVE with this combination!  The photo shows one coat of top coat.

I am seriously addicted to buying Jenna's Lacquistry franken polishes. They are so gorgeous!!!! Recently, she listed several new polishes, so of course I bought some (8 to be exact)..

You can visit Jenna's Lacquistry Etsy shop by clicking here or visit her on Facebook!

Then I added purple blobs with Color Club Wild at Heart (which I received from Heather over at Peace, Love, & Polish). On top of the purple blobs, I stamped on a rose nail design with Ulta Quick Silver and Bundle Monster Stamping plate BM14.

China Glaze Ruby Deer + Lacquistry Faux Fir

Posted by Unknown on Saturday, December 17, 2011

December 17, 2011

This is two coats of China Glaze Ruby Deer with no top coat. I received this lovely polish from Heather over at Peace, Love, & Polish in her holiday giveaway. Seriously, I think this is the perfect red. It went on so smooth and was so insanely shiny with no top coat!

I have been wanting to use Lacquistry Faux Fir polish for a while now. I didn't want to do the obvious combination of layering a green glitter polish over a green colored base polish, so I thought what the heck, lets try it over red. What do you think? I can't decide if I like it over red or not.

This is two coats of Lacquistry Faux Fir over two coats of China Glaze Ruby Deer with one coat of gelous. Faux Fir went on very smoothly and dried fairly quickly. It was not hard to get the glitter out of the bottle and on to your nail either, which I love!

You can visit Jenna's Lacquistry Etsy shop by clicking here, or visit her on Facebook!

Halloween Polish for Christmas!!! Another lovely Lacquistry Polish!!!

Posted by Unknown on Wednesday, December 7, 2011

December 07, 2011

Okay, I admit it... I have found my new favorite franken maker!!!! As you have noticed, I have been posting a lot of Lacquistry polishes lately... It is because I love them. Shhh, don't tell her I said anything, but she should be introducing about 20 new polishes in the next week or so!!!!  You can visit Jenna's (Lacquistry) Etsy shop here. She also recently launched a Facebook fanpage.

I started off with two coats of Kleancolor Metallic Red (which is an amazing metallic red polish--the perfect red base for any Christmas manicure and the perfect red for stamping). The photo shows no top coat.

Then I added two coats of Lacquistry Pluckered Spider and one coat of top coat!
