I won Wet N Wild Blackmail from
Painted Pixies blog a few months ago. Thanks so much for all of the cool polish!
Blackmail is a nice black polish with a hint of copper & turquoise shimmer. I'm definitely keeping it but I wish that the shimmer was much more prominent. That would make this one a stunner instead of just fine.
The next day I tried to do some nail art inspired by my killer new pair of shoes, I couldn't quite get the look I was going for though. I used
Zoya Phoebe for the fan shape.

Nothing special today..... just a simple layering manicure.... This is two coats of NK 038 Blue Saphire that I picked up for $1! This polish has some amazing sparkle to it. I am posting three pics in different lighting to show you how awesome this polish is---and it is CHEAP! I will be posting this on my blog sale soon, so keep an eye out if you like it!
Then I added one coat of Wet N Wild Believe Me, It's Real from the new Wet N Wild Ice Baby collection that is exclusively sold at Walgreens.

This is 3 coats of Wet N Wild Teal of Fortune. Nice formula but I really don't like the brush on this one. It just seems like a big mop. Very pretty turquoise jelly base with turquoise and maybe gold foil particles.
The next day I did some quick simple nail art. I'm not in love with my color choices but you do get to see both hands! I used The gorgeous
China Glaze Stellar &
Petites Raspberry Ice for the dots.

This is my first comparison post, and I decided to compare these polishes because of a recent haul. In a recent haul, I purchased some Orly polishes including Halley's Comet. I did not intend to keep it and decided to give it to my sister because I realized it looked exactly like Zoya Charla and Essence Choose Me from my color wheels. Another blogger mentioned that Wet N Wild Teal of Fortune is Zoya Charla's cousin polish. To me, in person and from the photos, the Zoya, Essence, and Orly look EXACTLY the same. I could not tell them apart. The Wet N Wild is no where near the same. It has a more dark blue base and the "shimmer" is not as noticeable. In addition, all of the polishes applied relatively the same and dried in about the same amount of time.
I like this comparison because Essence was only 99 cents where as the Orly polish was 10 dollars and the Zoya polish was 8 dollars. That is a huge price difference. I was so mad when I got the Orly polish and realized it was the same as two other polishes that I already own haha. I even did google searches of swatches of the Orly polish and didn't even recognize the similarities before I purchased them.
So what do you think? Do you think the three polishes look the same?

I really like this manicure even though the stickers are a little rough around the edges. The bottom layer is Wet N Wild Blue Wants to be a Millionaire. This polish is AMAZING. The pictures do not do it justice. If you click to enlarge the second and third photo below, you can really see how awesome this polish is. I didn't get any outside shots of this one. I want to say I used three coats. The top layer is two coats of OPI Skinny Jeans. Then I placed the sticker in the middle of the nail. I bought them from Sally Beauty Supply.

This was a really quick manicure that I did. I think it looks like snake skin. I stamped on the print on my bare nail with Wet n' Wild Blue Moon. I messed up my pointer finger when I was doing clean up with the polish remover.. haha... I hate when I do that. Anyways, I like posting the occasional super quick nail design for people that don't have much time for their nails. All of these pictures were taken inside no flash. It was gloomy outside that day. So what do you think?

This is 3 coats of Wet n Wild Shield. It's a gorgeous taupey foil with silver and copper bits too. The formula is nice but the brush is super stubby with a big round lid. I got used too it though. Ashley loves this one so much that she bought a back up!

I used
Zoya Kristi for the french manicure. I love the color combination but it would have looked much better if all of my nails were the same shape!

Wet N Wild Eggplant Frost is yet another Wet N Wild that looks amazing in the sunshine! It's a gorgeous plum with shimmer that sometimes looks silver and sometimes blue. It's a fabulous polish for your money if you like dark polishes. I'm not a big fan of polishes that look black most the time indoors though and this one falls into this category. Thanks to
Beautopia for sending me this one when I won a giveaway a while back!

This is 3 coats of easily applied Wet N Wild Blue Moon. I won this one from
Beautopia a while back. It's lovely in the sun but just looks black most of the time. I'm still looking for a great navy polish that looks navy most of the time if anyone has any suggestions.

Just a quick post to let you know that the Wet n Wild Halloween displays are here! There is an orange/gold glitter, a red shimmer, a black creme ( I think), a white glow in the dark and the one I chose, Black Magic. This is my first bar glitter polish and I'm not sure what I think. The bottles are super cute with little R.I.P. tombstones for caps. Black Magic is a clear base with multi-color small bar glitter. Green, gold, red, blue, orange
and purple from what I can tell. not sure if there are any new colors or if they are all repeats like Black Magic.
