Did you guess this one right? Flowers! How could I not do "Flower" from Bambi!? It was a perfect match.

Bambi design I did a while back.
I started by painting all of my nails with Sinful Colors Black on Black. The middle nail is painted with SPAritual Eye of the Beholder with black acrylic paint already started for Flower's outline.
Then white acrylic paint. You can see I just splotched on the flower shapes on the non-"Flower" nail.
The rest I think is pretty self explanatory....
2 thick coats of Seche Vite to even everything out!
"Delicate" is next! Whatever shall I do? You'll have to wait and see! It's a good one!

For once I actually wore pink on Wednesday! I'm usually too random, that's why I haven't joined "
On Wednesdays We Wear Pink" I loved the movie Mean Girls, but I would have trouble sticking to a rule like that! Lol
I finally got around to using some more of my
Dollar Nail Art supplies I'd ordered a while back. I want to get a lot more of the brightly colored metallic foils..... My first order was a lot of silver and just a few patterns. What was I thinking?
This is "English Rose" which is very dainty and feminine. I really it, but I'd read other bloggers having trouble with the pattern on any of the foils not transferring completely. I thought it might be better to start with a base coat of a similar shade, that way any bare spots would be less noticeable. It did help!
My base color was 2 coats of China Glaze Something Sweet. It's my favorite opaque, pale, baby pink.
Then I used the foil glue that Dollar Nail Art sends you with your order. Applied the glue and let it dry (just a few minutes), then press the foil down on the nail careful to burnish all the edges smooth. Gently pull up on the foil and it should leave the transfer on your nail. Topcoat to seal it in.
The "white" looking areas on the foil itself (you can see best in the first photo) are actually a pearly finish when transferred to the nail. It adds a nice little shimmer to the base color!
There were a few areas where the foil wouldn't lie down flat and the pattern skipped, but you really can't tell! That leaves me a very happy girl.

I love the crazy abstract graphic flowers on this skirt I have, so I copied it on my nails! What do you think? The skirt is what I used as the back drop.
It got mixed reviews. Some thought it was camouflage when they saw them, others asked if it was four leaf clovers, etc. I thought it was ok. Super simple! White base, use a tiny paintbrush and push & pull some tan flower petals, then add turquoise petals, then green petals on top of that. I stabbed at the centers with my black nail art striper. Top coat and done.
And of course here is what I used:
- Sally Hansen CSM - Lavender Cloud
- ChG - Four Leaf Clover
- ChG - Shower Together
- Orly - Prince Charming
- Kiss Nail Art Striper - Black

Here is some purple nail art for ya. I liked the freehand flower design I had done over Coat Azure last week, so I wanted to try it again but MORE of course!
I started with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Trouble Maker.
Gorgeous by itself even.
I then freehanded the flowers with a detail brush using Orly's Lollipop. Outlined the flowers using Kiss Nail Art Striper in white, added a tiny dash to the center of each petal using Trouble Maker again.
Then I added tiny light purple rhinestones to the centers of the flowers. I bought the smallest diameter rhinestones I could find because if they stick out to where I feel a bump.... it drives me nuts and I pick it off in no time. These are so small that the topcoat covers around and makes it almost undetectable. :) Making me very happy to have the glitz of rhinetsones without the annoyance!

2 coats of Coat Azure, I can't get over how great this color is. And the weather is supposed to be great this week with spring-like temperatures, so I wanted to do something floral.
Freehanded China Glaze Sea Spray then outlined with Kiss Nail Art Striper in white and accented with a Kiss Nail Art Striper in silver glitter. Tiny dash of Coat Azure over top of the Sea Spray petal. Topcoat.

Blue konad roses with an accent nail.
I used:
- Essie Trillionails base coat
- 2 coats of ChG First Mate on all except the accent nail
- 2 coats of ChG Adore on accent nails
- Stamped with corresponding color using Konad plate m65
- Out the Door topcoat
I find myself using some of the same image plates and the same colors lately. I guess I'm in a rut. :(

I wanted to plan my nails to match my outfit I'm wearing Sunday morning. This is a pic from another event that I wore the dress to.
Cute, right? It's solid red with the focus drawn to the small rosettes and rouching at the shoulder.
And I usually pair it with gold jewelry and a pair of gold sling-back sandals.
Here are the nails I came up with:
I used:
- Beauty Secrets Base Coat
- 1 coat China Glaze's 2030 over entire nail
- Covered my moons using the paper hole reinforcers method
- 2 coats of Orly's "Haute Red"
- Stamped the roses image from Konad plate m65 with the same 2030 polish
- Gently remove the hole reinforcers with tweezers.
- Top with Out the Door topcoat!
A tip for when using hole reinforcers, or any french tip guide, for that matter... Always pull them off by pulling upwards and toward your cuticle. That way the line is very clean and you won't accidentally pull off more polish than intended. Hope it helps!

I used my fave Seche french tip guides along with China Glaze's "Laced Up" for the hot pink tips.
Then carefully applied the white flower decals you see. I got these from Asami from "Nails by Asami" in
a swap/gifting session. -Thanks so much girl!
After those were on, I did the white dots using Sally Hansen's "Lavendar Cloud" and a dotting tool.
Topped it all off with Out the Door!

OPI's "Nail Envy" as a base coat
Sally Hansen's "Lavender Cloud" as the background
China Glaze's "Adore" for the roses
Revlon "Hot for Chocolate" for the vines
Topped it all off with 2 coats of Out the Door topcoat!
