China Glaze Crackle Metals - Tarnished Gold - swatch and review

Posted by Unknown on Friday, July 22, 2011

I have more crack for you today.
I only wanted one of the colors from the new crackle metals - Tarnished Gold.
While the other colors from the collection are nice, I decided not to get them because I probably would use them once and then forget about them. But gold is a pretty versatile color I think, I'll get more use out of it.

When I got this crackle, I was already wearing China Glaze - Shower Together.

Shower Together is a really pretty teal-hued blue, 2 coats.
I let it dry completely, and added Tarnished Gold.

I found that it crackled well without any fussing.

It dries to a semi-matte finis, like most crackles, so I like to add topcoat.

With topcoat, it gets much more sparkly and it even brightens the gold color.

I'm really pleased with the formula on this one, so I would recommend getting this if you want a gold crackle!

Is your crack addiction still going strong?
