Wet N Wild Dream Weavers Eyeshadow Palette Review

Posted by Unknown on Sunday, July 24, 2011

Ok so this is a first for me and I'm kinda nervous about it! I love to play around with makeup *almost* as much as I love nail polish...so I thought it would be fun to share some products with you every once in a while. This will definitely predominantly stay a nail blog, but I hope that's alright with you guys! :) I am by no means a pro, but I think makeup should be fun!

I loved the swatches I was seeing from WnW LE collection Dream Weavers, so I went and picked up a few at Fred Meyer for $2.99 each. They didn't have all the ones I wanted, but there were still some good ones.

The palette I am showing you today is called Earth Looks Small From Down Here. They are engraved  telling you where to put each shade, which is cool for beginners. But these are also fun shades to mix and match with! I am a sucker for anything turquoise so I really love the eyelid color.

Here are the colors swatched on the back of my hand...they show up a little more pigmented in person. But for anyone that's not a fan of very bold color, these are start out semi sheer and are very buildable. Overall, I'm a fan!

Here is the look I put together with these colors. Don't pay attention to my red eye...I have a baby that likes to dictate when I sleep! :)

Products used (besides eyeshadow): Korres Eyeliner Pencil in black (top lid)
    Maybelline The Falsies Flared Mascara
Sephora Eyeliner in black (waterline)

I played down the rest of my face since I was using more bold colors on my eyes. Here is my finished look:

Products used:
ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer
NYC Concealer
ELF Sheer Mineral Booster
ELF Studio Cream Blush in Flirt
ELF lipgloss in Bare
ELF Studio Pout Perfecter

(Can you tell I like ELF?! haha)

Anyways...I hope I didn't just weird you all out by not posting nails on a nail blog. Please give me your input so I know to do this is the future or not. Thanks for reading...love you guys!! <3
