Greetings all! Today I have Nicole by OPI Texture Coat collection to show you. It's a collection which consists of 6 shatter like polishes. Are you guys tired of shatters/crackle polishes yet? I'm sure not!
Have a look!
White Texture didn't shatter as much as I thought it would. Maybe it was because I put a really thick coat. Some reason the formula was really thick compared to the other ones.
Silver Texture is pretty much like silver shatter by OPI.
Red Texture. I really love the combination of these two, kind of perfect for Valentine's day.
Gold Texture. I have slight problems with this. As you can see on my pinky and ring finger it shattered pretty decent, and then on my pointer and middle finger it just looks like gold specks. What happened was I tried to do thinner coats for my pointer and middle and that is what happened.
Black Texture. I love the turn out of this one! I did black texture over China Glaze's Electric Pineapple!
Turquoise Texture. I was going for a 'mermaid tail' like look but I guess the turquoise wasn't as opaqued as I thought it would be. Still looks quite interesting though.
You can skip these if you have all the OPI shatters. They are very similar. I prefer the brushes for OPI because they're thicker and easier to apply with just one swipe. The brush for these were thin so I had to swipe a few times which probably explains the weird shattering effects. The only problem I had was the white texture which was extremely thick and gooey, but that is how most shatter polishes are like.
Well that's all I have for today, I have a lot of more posts to share with you guys. I just finished editing 30 or so pictures so stay tune!
