Gilded Coral Gridwork

I love Eyeko's Coral Polish for a bright pop of color to bring on the warmer weather. I applied 3 thin coats and waited for it to dry. Then I stamped using China Glaze 2030 and Bundle Monster BM-209. This is my favorite type of full nail stamp. 

I had to double stamp my thumb to cover the whole nail, and you can see that I didn't line it up exactly... but it didn't bug me too much. ;)

Nailed It's Vintage Flowers

When I saw this design on Nailed It, I knew I had to recreate it myself. I just fell in love with the color combination. And the dotting is so simple! I didn't use any of the same exact polishes, but the same idea is there.

 Enjoy!

I started with a base coat, and then 2 coats of China Glaze Lemon Fizz.

Then large dots using a dotting tool and Barielle Sweet Addiction.

Then small dots using Barielle Coco Bar,

Then medium sized dots using Eyeko Coral Polish,

Then small dots using Sinful Colors Lets Meet

Wait until it's dry and apply topcoat! 

(You don't want to smudge your dots by applying it too early.)

Funky French - Coral

I have a summer dress that I wanted to wear and match my nails. It's an orange/coral floral (hehe that rhymes) print with a creme colored crocheted bit at the neckline. I started with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Cafe Au Lait, then added Eyeko Coral Polish for the tips. I freehanded them with my striping brush. I've gotten better at freehanding my french tips. Thank goodness because I'm usually a mess if I use tape or guides. :)

It served it purpose, but I changed it after I had changed out of my dress. It was just too simple for me to keep on any longer! Lol

Eyeko - Coral Polish

This was my first Eyeko polish to try and I really like it. I don't understand why polish brand from other countries have such tiny bottles? Are we in the US just feeding the polish hoarders with 15-19mL polish bottles? Eyeko only had 8.5mL, Essence 8mL, H&M 3mL, GOSH 8mL, Catrice 10mL..... I think I see a pattern here. I guess just another way to link to why Americans have such a problem with obesity. We think bigger is better, and we always want more, More, MORE! :)

 Just a very bright orange-y red. This was 2 coats, still some very minor visible nail line, but that didn't bother me enough to put a third coat on. I love it! Hope you do too!

I'm off to eat an entire container of Crescent Rolls. 6 in a package? Really? That's all? I can eat all 6, thank you Mr. Pillsbury....now I'm the dough-boy.

California Raisins

These guys are definitely cute enough to eat! I remember the California Raisins from my childhood. The commercials aired... then there was merchandise you could buy... if I remember correctly, we had some of them as little figurines. For those of you unfamiliar with this, I've included the info from the "trusted" internet.

"The California Raisins were a fictional rhythm and blues musical group as well as advertising and merchandising characters composed of anthropomorphized raisins based on black caricatures. Lead vocals were sung by musician Buddy Miles. The California Raisins concept experienced high popularity in the mid-to-late 1980s principally through claymation TV commercials and animated specials, winning an Emmy Award and one nomination."
