Neon Gradient

I did these nails to celebrate a day doing nothing but sitting by the pool and visiting with friends. Bright neon summer celebration. I hope you like it!

I started with an ancient Color Club that my mom got for me on eBay. It's called Neon Sunrise. It's terribly sheer and egg-yolk-like on it's own. So these pics are 2 coats of Neon Sunrise over a base of generic white polish.

This is a pic without flash just to show you what it looks like in some light. Minus the white base polish? It looks a lot like the swatches I've seen of Deborah Lippman Yellow Brick Road. But I really don't care for that polish.

Then I sponged on China Glaze Pink Voltage (Neon) using a disposable eyeshadow sponge applicator. It did take a few coats.

Finally sponged on the only purple neon I have. Sinful Colors Nail Art - Sour Grapes.

I really liked how it turned out. It was bright and "in-your-face."
