French Tip Dip Riviera Moon

Posted by Unknown on Tuesday, September 6, 2011

I won a French Tip Dip Kit a while back and ended up really liking their white polish and their topcoat. I contacted them to see if they might be interested in sending me some of their other polish colors to try out and French Tip Dip Riviera Moon is the second one I tried.

I'm not really a big sheer fan, but I love this one even more than yesterday's Cannes! Once again, the formula was terrific and you can get this look with just 2 coats. Hard to capture this one! Riviera Moon is an excellent name for this lovely polish. It's a bit frosty and has more of an off white tinted base as opposed to the clear base in Cannes. Both Cannes & Riviera Moon are polishes that really shine in low light. Constantly flashing a subtle glow of color.
My boyfriend Will loves this one too. Who would have thought that I would love 2 sheers in a row! This is why I love to get samples and win prizes in giveaways. I end up trying things I would never purchase & end up broadening my horizons!

Tomorrow I'll show both Cannes & Riviera Moon layered over a few colors.

Thanks for reading!

I'm not really a big sheer fan, but I love this one. The formula was terrific and you can get this look with just 2 coats. I took pictures in all kinds of lighting to try and capture it's loveliness. My boyfriend Will loves this one too! Nice change of pace from my usual tastes.

OPI Pinkerbell

Posted by Unknown on Thursday, March 19, 2009

I'm a little less iffy about Pinkerbell now, but I'm afraid it won't get the wear it deserves from me that it deserves. I'm definitely not a pearly wearer.

This was three coats, no top coat. So blinding in the sun! But then again, I think my eyes are super sensitive >_<

It was a little more difficult to use because it had a thin brush, most of my Yokohama's have pro-wides. Everything else-wise was pretty good.

18 in four days! I'm so excited n_n

Comparison - OPI Suzi & The Lifeguard VS. Misa Little Tease

Posted by Unknown on Friday, March 13, 2009

I posted this on MUA awhile back and completely forgot about it until I was cleaning out NJ's folders.

Differences:
Little Tease is slightly more blue toned, sheerer, pearlised not frosted.

Suzi is more red, thicker, has a frosted not pearlised finish.

I messed it up on the third coat... Damn camera strap! Just incase anyone is confused... They gain a coat on each picture :)

Little Tease is an oldie, so I'm not too sure if it's discontinued or not. Suzi & The Lifeguard was brought out at the start of Feb in the South Beach collection.

Hope this helps you!

Misa Little Tease

Posted by Unknown on Thursday, February 26, 2009

Here is yesterdays mani...

Well at least I wore Gotta Get Pink! for half a day :D I was really desperate to try out this lovely little Misa, Little Tease. Little Tease is a great example of a pearl finish polish.

This is four coats here and you can see the tiniest bit of my tips, so I think I will layer it over white next time I go to wear it :)

It applied beautifully and hassle-free. Little Tease is such a dreamy-milky pink... I really want to try the new heart polish; Be Mine, You're Fine! over it. I think that would make a very cute combo :D

This is an oldie although I'm not sure if it's discontinued...
