In the June 2012 issue of Allure Magazine, beauty experts give some pointers on how to keep your pedi looking perfectly brilliant throughout a beach vacation. The key to long-lasting vibrant and glossy color is making sure to use a top coat with UV blocking agents such as Zoya Armor Top Coat...
"Most topcoats have unpronounceable ingredients, like benzophenone - 1 and octocrylene, that
absorb UV light and prevent it from breaking down the color. But the effectiveness wanes over time."
Re-apply, re-apply, re-apply! Not only will re-applying your top coat every other day prevent sun rays from dulling the nail color, the ultra-strong and flexible formula of Zoya Armor provides a chip-free coating that will also defend nail color against wear and tear of sand and salt water.
You're in luck - the secret to long-lasting color is also available in a convenient, travel size Mini Color Lock System manicure kit that is the perfect size to take with on any beach getaway. Find it HERE!

The Zoya Labor Day (USA) Manicure (or Pedicure)!
Feeling patriotic? Ditch the apple pie and flag print clothing, and opt for a little American spirit in the form of an All-American manicure with Zoya’s America or Isla instead! Fun, flirty, and patriotically delightful, Zoya’s America and Indigo nail polishes are all you need to get your all-American on.
Say it with nail polish! The look we are going for here is picnic perfect, and not overwhelming. The trick is in the accents, because too many bold colors on the nails can be a bit much. After applying Zoya’s Anchor base coat, evenly paint 2 coats of Zoya’s America or Zoya Isla, on all fingers save for the ring finger. The ring finger will get the Zoya Indigo treatment, to provide that perfect pop that is just so- patriotic that is. If you are feeling extra artistic, a half-moon painted on the nail bed of the Indigo’ed ring finger with Zoya’s Purity or Zoya Trixie it will take the look into the stratosphere. Finish with Zoya’s Armor, and you are ready to salute your nails, and R.O.C.K in the U.S.A.
Make like an American woman, and rock out with a patriotic manicure, brought to life with our star: Zoya Nail Polish in America or Isla so beautiful!
$8 each, www.zoya.com

Shown: Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and Michael Reyzis

As sponsors,
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Reyzis presented cash awards to the winners of the best performance of a baroque composition -
Hoang Pham, best contemporary composition -
Martina Filjak (who was also the first prize winner of the competition - shown here), and best performancy of a contemporary composition -
Evgeny Brakman (who was also the fourth prize winner).
Unified in both marriage and a lifelong love of the arts, Michael and Zoya Reyzis serve the Cleveland and International music communities with donations of time, expertise and funding. Both are on the board of
The Cleveland International Piano Competition, and Zoya is a board member of the
Cleveland Institute of Music Women's Committee.
Originally a classical pianist in Russia, Zoya earned her Cosmetology license in 1979 when she and her husband Michael immigrated to the United States. While pianists' jobs were limited, the world of Cosmetology offered a new profession and a means by which to build a new career. Through Zoya's hard work, and a demand for quality and healthy, natural ingredients for her clients, it became evident that there was a need for the perfect products. Responding to his wife's requests, Michael, an advanced chemist, developed and patented unique products such as anti-wrinkle treatments and shampoo and conditioning treatments for the salon and spa. He also created the first working fast drying top coat and the longest wearing nail polish, revolutionizing the nail industry.
Now that's Beautiful music!

"Look for polish that's free of toxic chemicals like phthalates, toluene, and formaldehyde. If you're prone to smudging, put toe searators or cotton balls betweenen your toes. Before painting, swab underneath, alongside and on top of your nails with polish remover to clean traces of oil and lotion." THE ZOYA COLOR LOCK SYSTEM MANICURE/PEDICURE• STEP 1 - REMOVE +: Removes old polish, cleans nails and preps for new color. System kit includes the 8 oz. Remove + “Big Flipper” bottle which makes one handed use a breeze.
• STEP 2 - ANCHOR - BASE COAT: Apply one coat immediately after prepping nails to form a bond between nail bed and the nail polish, provide a surface for polish to cling to and to prevent bubbling and peeling. BONUS...complex protein chains strengthen nails and extend polish wear for days. 0.5 oz bottle included in kit. • STEP 3 - ZOYA - NAIL POLISH: Apply 2 two coats polish (not included in system kit).
