Teeez - Outta Control
Posted by Unknown on Wednesday, March 21, 2012
Teeez Outta Control. This must be my favorite purple, EVER! It's purple, prismatic and the formula and application are excellent. This is two coats over Orly Bonder basecoat and no topcoat, because it's so shiny by itself. Today's already the third day I'm wearing it, I can't get enough of it!
I once showed Outta Control before here in an accent nail mani, but I love it so much that I had to share it one more time. :-) Thanks for stopping by!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!
Posted by Unknown on Saturday, March 17, 2012
Hey guys!!!! Whew, I've been so busy today getting ready for our neighborhood St. Patrick's Day party. I did manage to make time to get pics of my mani and post, whoo hoo! This will be short though sorry, because I have to wake Jack up and go run more errands.
Hope you guys have a great day and night!!!
I started with Nubar Reclaim for the base of my St. Patty Day mani

Trying to achieve a white holo
Posted by Unknown on Friday, March 16, 2012
Morning!! I've been on the lookout for a bright while holo for a while now. I do have the Glitter Gals white holo, Light as a Feather, and although it was holo, I wanted it to be more in your face holo :P So I experimented a tad, and tried a little layering. It turned out alright, but def not as I hoped. The Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Diamond kind of turned the white a tad yellow.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze White on White, and then added a coat of Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Diamond. I wish there was sun when I did this, so I could even see if that helped more. Maybe I shall try again one day.

Side note - I can't freaking wait!!! One week from now I will be enjoying my day off, and proabbaly still talking about just seeing the Hunger Games with Jack!!! Are any of you going to the midnight showing? I always said I would never go to one of those, mainly because of the crowds, but I just couldn't wait!

Teeez - Smooth
Posted by Unknown on Thursday, February 9, 2012
Hello everyone! For this post I have a special pink polish to show you. I've used this polish before in my guest post for Ivana from Ivana Thinks Pink, but I thought Smooth needed an own post. :)
Now Teeez isn't exactly the best in naming their polishes - several have the same name with a different number which is just confusing, plus those pretties just deserve an own name - but Smooth is kind of fitting! ;-) This baby was so easy to apply and it was denser than I expected, pictured is two thin coats of subtle holo beauty, love it! ^^

Glitter Gal Holos!!
Posted by Unknown on Tuesday, January 31, 2012
Morning! Today I just wanted to show you some quick swatches of 3 new Glitter Gal polishes that I purchased off of Amazon. I'm a HUGE holo lover, and these are all just amazing! Each of these are 2 coats and no top coat :)
Lizard Belly 3D/Holo - A VERY dark green holo, although I would just consider it black. I really only saw the green on my first coat.

Green 3D/Holo - Umm......I guess sometimes I would get just the slightest hint of green, but the holo effect is AWESOME

Light As A Feather 3D/Holo - Now this one I did do a base of Sinful Snow on Me white, I was afraid it was going to be too sheer. The holo doesn't pop as much as the others but it's still there and beautiful

Teeez Outta Control + accent nail
Posted by Unknown on Friday, August 26, 2011
Hi guys :) This is a recent mani. I started with the accent nail, one coat of Essence Bella with silver dots. To match the accent nail I chose a purple creme for my other nails, W.I.C. Dakar (similar to OPI Funky Dunkey). But after I applied the first coat, the sun suddenly began to appear, so not long after I was applying two coats of Teeez Outta Control on top. What a pretty purple that is! The holo isn't extremely strong, but definitely visible. Another lovely surprise was how shiny it was, I didn't even need topcoat. And it stayed just as pretty the day after, I couldn't stop staring at my nails! (Which can be quite dangerous while riding a bike... *Cough*) Thanks for reading!

DV8 Circus
Posted by Unknown on Tuesday, August 2, 2011
Hi guys! Yesterday I showed you China Glaze DV8, a beautiful holographic polish, which I've used to create today's 'circus' design. You may have seen this tape design before here in an older post, I remember liking it a lot and that I wanted to use it more often, but I still had so many other ideas to try out that I never got to doing it again. So here it is, my second 'circus-tent-ceiling-mani', what a name, lol. It's not as neat as my first attempt, so I'll just keep my nails at a larger distance, which is much better for my eyes as well ;) Enjoy your day!

China Glaze - DV8
Posted by Unknown on Monday, August 1, 2011
Hi guys, finally there was sun today! Holo time. This is China Glaze DV8, a beautiful teal/blue holo. DV8 isn't as holo as Gosh Holo, for example, but still really pretty to look at. The application was very nice, I applied two coats for full coverage, and what was even better was the drying time! In several minutes it's completely dry, so it's also a great polish to use for tape manis ;-) Good night!

Holo lightning bolt
Posted by Unknown on Sunday, July 17, 2011
(This is a scheduled post, I'm on vacation!)
Hello guys! The lightning bolt's been away for a while, but it's back now! Did you miss it? ;-) For this double lightning bolt, I used the same technique as usual, only now the middle part is diverging, making the whole somewhat playfuller. As my previous attempts on using Gosh Holo as a layering color miserably failed, I used it as the base color this time (clever!). Which is time-saving too since Gosh Holo is a one-coater and fast-drying. Then I taped off the holo part and applied Color Club Where's The Soiree? on top. I must've said this like a gazillion times, but Where's The Soiree? is just wonderful for tape manis. It's so extremely pigmented and even when it's used over another polish, it dries with the speed of light. So quickly after that I was ready to tape my nails again and used Essence Bella for the tips. Done!
If you like this look just have a look at the tutorial for this design if you haven't already. I know it takes a lot of patience but practice really makes perfect and I've already seen many beautiful and succesful attempts from you! They make me proud :) Thanks for visiting!

Morning guys!!! I'm BACK!!!!
Posted by Unknown on Wednesday, June 8, 2011
Alright, well let me just start by saying, thank you all so much for your sweet comments, and emails that I received. I don't want you guys to worry, everyone in my family is doing good. I just had some issues that I needed to deal with. You all really are so amazing and sweet, thank you guys again!! As much as it killed me to be away, it was something that I needed to do. I'm back though, and I hope I never have to go away again, lol. I missed you guys!! If you emailed me, pelase just give me some time to get back to you. I am starting to now, but I have just a tad over 100 emails, lol, so it might be a few days :) Oh and I have tried to go back and respond to your comments, but blogger for some reason, won't let me. Each time I write something, and click 'Submit' it just keeps asking me to sign in again :(
Okay, lets just get back to normal now, and pretend that little time away never happened....deal??
Here is a funky french I did. I had a mostly black outfit on, and just wanted something fun on my tips :)
I started with 2 thick coats of China Glaze He's Going In Circles and then added China Glaze Jolly Holly for the tips.

OPI DS Sapphire on the tips :)
Posted by Unknown on Saturday, May 21, 2011
Morning :) Here is the mani I did using the OPI DS Sapphire, that I posted about yesterday. I started with a base of Wet n' Wild Black, and a coat of SV
Then using tape, of course, I taped my tips off, and used OPI DS Sapphire
Sorry my post are kind of short, I'm so afraid I'll get into trouble at work, even though I'm doing these on my lunch.
