Lacquer Ninja pairs Zoya Nail Polish in Skylar with Zoya Maisie for a combination that has Spring written all over it!
"After wearing Skylar plain for two days, I added the very pretty Fleck Effect shade, Maisie. I figured the blue jelly base was meant to compliment Skylar and I was right! Maisie is described as "a sheer turquoise blue base with reflective Mylar flakes that shift from green to blue" And the blue shift was awesome on this. Seriously, it didn't just flash blue, it flashed indigo. LOVED this combination."

Zoya Fleck Effect mylar glazes in Chloe and Maisie shown here. $8.00 ea. (US)
The nail glaze craze continues this time with the focus on aqua blue and green nail polish infused hues in the March issue of Glamour Magazine (US).
Zoya Maisie, a beaming aqua blue mylar topcoat (aka - glitter glaze) from the Zoya Fleck Effect collection plays a starring role on the page.
This striking nail look also took center stage on the runway during the New York Fashion Week - Fall/Winter 2012 collections at the Whitney Eve (designed by "Hills" alum Whitney Port)
Perfection is Possible (or PIP to those of us who who crave hot scoop postings from this beauty insider on a regular basis) shined her light on Zoya's Kristen and Maisie during the recent Whitney Eve (also known as Whitney Port to those of us who love reality TV) show. Whew - that was a mouthful LOL. See the entire posting here.

She may still be the fresh, stylish girl you loved on "The Hills" and "The City" but Whitney Port is now the grown up fashion designer behind the Whitney Eve label and her girlish side has given way to more womanly looks for those on the cusp.
On the nails Whitney very specifically requested a soft blue tone to work with her palette when working with manicurist Sunshine Outing. The two collaborated and decided on a youthful, layered look using the full coverage soft blue cream Kristen topped by the popular Maisie from the Zoya Fleck Effect collection. As a special bonus, the front row crowd took home samples of each shade.
Loving the layered nail look on her models but wanting to be unique for her first runway solo show, Whitney selected Zoya Megan with Zoya Chloe for her big day nail look.

Here's a real treat for Zoya Nail Polish fans... Two complete video swatch reviews and a complete review including swatch images of the two new Zoya Nail Polish Collections for Spring 2012 by Allura Beauty:
"What makes these pretty different from traditional glitters, is that they contain a special mylar flect glitter—suspended in a slightly tinted base. These make PHENOMENAL top coats over deep shades; like black, dark blues, purples, and burgundies. Even though I’ve swatched them over black in the photos below, you’ll have fun experimenting with different base shades. Each one will give them a new life."
