china glaze island escape - senorita bonita - swatch and review

Posted by Unknown on Friday, March 25, 2011

Good morning!
Today I'm very excited to show you the polish I picked up from China Glaze's Island Escape collection.
My Chatters had them out early!

Only one really called to me and that was Senorita Bonita, the purple shade.

But that's not what it looks like.

It looks like this:

This is as close to accurate as I could get it!
My camera captured so many different shades it was unreal.

More ridiculous pictures after the jump.

I haven't seen what this looks like under sunlight and probably won't for a while because we are currently in the middle of a snow storm.
But under natural, lamp, and camera flash light it is SO different.

Too purple.
Too pink.

The pink is accurate for what it looked like last night under artificial light.
But now that I see it in natural light this morning, I can say that it looks much more purple than that.

Pretty good.
Purple with pretty pink glass-fleck shimmer.
I guess this is going to have to be one of those shades you need to see for yourself!

And I do recommend you see it for yourself. Because it is seriously beautiful.
Senorita Bonita has sky rocketed it's way into my top favorites, for sure.

This polish is a bit sheer, this swatch is four coats.
I could have gotten away with three, but I noticed that I had missed a spot on the side of one nail, so I did a fourth coat on all nails.
Clean up was easy!

These are supposed to hit shelves sometime in April or maybe May. I'm not sure.
I should go back and get the others just so I can be one of the first to show them!
