Franken - Glitter in the Air

Posted by Unknown on Friday, May 20, 2011

With all of the frankens popping up of Deborah Lippmann's Glitter in the Air, I decided to try it out myself. I like the idea of a blue base, but I wanted it to be a bit darker and more opaque. How do you think I did?
It's a bit more cornflower blue than the real GITA but I like it that way.

I feel like it builds nicely! And sorry I can't share my recipe with you.... I honestly have no idea what all went into it. It was just about everything but the kitchen sink.....
I bought some Wet n Wild clear polish for 69 cents to use for my frankens. I dump the clear polish into a large empty polish bottle and add what I need back to the WnW bottle. That makes me feel like I'm not wasting it either. The cheap clear polish is a nice to use as a filler.

Here is another ring shot of what's included in one of the prizes for my "Good Enough to Eat" contest. It makes me sad that's as far as I can get the ring on! My ring finger is a size 8, but my middle finger is a bit larger!
I hope you're working on your entries!
